tunes: Dir en grey - Rasetsukoku (5 Ugly DVD)

Punk Rock
PUNK ROCK : Like a revived species of nearly extinct salamander, Punk Rock Asian Girls are a rare type, but slowly climbing up to existence again. Your passions are mainly music and anime and you've probably dyed your hair some odd color of the rainbrow. And if you haven't, you probably will. You often feel like you are misunderstood, but don't worry. Just think about thongs. Very funny.

Okay. Well, at least I'm not hoochie or whitewashed. Yeah, it could've been worse. Anyway, I added avatars and kyo quiz results to the site. Got rid of some stupid stuff that I didn't update anymore.

tunes: Dir en grey - Keroido Milk

Got this from a very nice Dir en grey fan :)

"Since you asked me to tell you when the Dir en Grey official page did updates I'm telling you this. Their new album is released in September 10 and it's called "Vulgar". It has 15 songs, including Child Prey, Drain Away, and Kasumi. I didn't see Fukai, unless my kanji is worse than I think it is. It also says something about a DVD called Obscure, and I think it's released on the same date, but I have to ask my friend for help in the translation of this part. Their tour "Over the Vulgar Shudder" starts on Spt. 13 for a knot, and Spt. 14 to everyone."

Oooooh, I wanna get that album! So far, I have NO official Deg albums, but I do have a legit copy of Final 2003 5 Ugly Kingdom DVD. I did check the -comprehensive kyo- site to see their tour dates and dammit, they have so many shows! Sucks that I have to love a band that I won't be able to see live! Well, it's better than my Dead Kennedys obsession where they didn't even exist anymore (not with Jello Biafra, anyway). Jello still does his spoken word, but damnit, I wanna see him sing all his songs from his DK days. Sad news, I found out this morning that Katherine Hepburn passed away yesterday. RIP.

tunes: Dir en grey - Mushi (5 Ugly Kingdom DVD)

I can't believe the poll on AA, "Will you go see Charlie's Angels Full Throttle?" and the answer for YES was a whopping 75% (out of 5,000+ polled). You people on AA really have gross taste in movies. That movie has "rent me" all over it. Or not even "rent me", maybe "see it when it's on TV". Go fucking see "28 Days Later" stupid assholes. I have to work on a Sunday which I'm happy for b/c I love the hours, but Sundays are boring as fuck. I really want a GBA SP. I think I may trade in a few games for it. Thing is, I want to buy it in Delaware so I won't have to worry about taxes. Maybe I'll make CJ buy it if she goes to the mall. I can't wait for the mail to come! I'm anticipating some new toys! Heeee! Dammit! I really want those wristbands the guys wear, it's not fair! I just bought plain ones, maybe I should sew "Dir en grey" on it, just b/c I'm cheap. I'll have to learn how to sew, though. Hahhaha!

tunes: Dir en grey - Mr. Newsman

I fell asleep early again watching Donnie Darko. Not that it was a boring movie. I didn't get to finish my review of 28 Days Later, either. I was trying to take a short "nap" and ended up dozing off. Last night was crazy, but not bad. Just annoying b/c we were short of headsets. A lot of them kept breaking. Those old Rio 64MB mp3 players that are about 5 years ago. Hahahha. Eh, starving.

tunes: Dir en grey - Karasu (5 Ugly Kingdom DVD)

Yay! Arena37C came in the mail today from Japan! Came with Dir en grey poster! Yaaaay! :D :D Work sucked everyone was pissed b/c they were on hold for long times. Assholes. Anyway, I got to go home b/c they were actually overstaffed and I didn't have anything to do (was supposed to be in headsets). So yeah. I'm home. Yeeha.

tunes: Shiina Ringo - Identity

I was in a completely different world today. Lost in space, staring into oblivion. (Whoa, GAY! I was trying to get approved for a Dell Account and it didn't process b/c of "system maintenance"....yeah, I just had to do this around 3AM, the most common time for backups and maintenance...sheesh, I should know this stuff by now). Anyway, back to my day of complete incoherence and continuous blank stares. I had no idea what I was doing today. Spacing out, just doing random actions. Maybe the delerium hasn't subsided, its still inhabiting the deep recesses of my psyche. I actually got a job offer, not something I want to do, really, but I should give it a shot. I really don't want to start working until after vacation to Colorado. Assuming that's still happening. My dad isn't excited about the idea of traveling cross country, and I don't think he wants me driving either, although I really wouldn't mind. It would be nice to get a rental car for the trip. I also hope to rent a car when we get there. Ah, I miss driving. Just listening to certain songs makes me nostalgic.

tunes: Gackt - Papa lapped a pap lopped

Don't ask about the song. I'm going to say that this is the first time I'm listening to it, just b/c someone told me about it and I love Gackt's voice (yes, let's all ooh and ahh over his magnificent verbrato). Oy, he just did his girly scream... I can't wait to see the video, they are the ultimate in gayness. Heh, Mizerable just came on. Very good song, one of the few Gackt songs that I honestly love. Okay, I tried adding more mp3s to my iPod then the computer freezes. That's odd to me b/c that usually happens when the external HDD is connected to the USB2 PCI card. Yet, this was only the iPod that was connected to the Firewire port. What the hell is going on? Argh, I cannot wait to get a new computer already. I'm going to leave one for multimedia and one for work and other stuff. The other computer is now just sitting junk. I can't take off the fan and therefore, the processor doesn't get changed. I can't contact David b/c his email isn't working and I'm not about to call long distance. Although I think I will try, but I'm betting the number probably isn't working either. I don't think I was awake most of the day yesterday. I ate early in the morning, took 2 naps, and now it's 5AM and I've been up since 11PM. I need to start getting back on track, but this is my favorite time of the night. Where no one but a few psychotic individuals waste away their time and life in front of a tube of flashing light. Oh, I did get the new Electronic Gaming Monthly. They gave Nintendo a C- for their display over at E3. I was upset, but at least they had a good showing with the GBA. I'm very curious about Sony's introduction into the handheld gaming industry. The addition of MPEG-4 capabilities to their PSP handheld system is something that Nintendo should follow closely in order for them to find a way to counter this move. Why does Nintendo insist that it's okay to take something good away in order to add another plus to their system? What I mean is, they finally added a backlit display to the GBA SP (as well as rechargeable battery), but at the same time, they took out the headphone jack. (Ah, Gackt's Secret Garden is now on...this blog is taking a lot longer than usual). Okay, back to computers, if I had bought the computer I'm currently on right now (minus the upgrades), it probably would've cost around $150-$200 compared to what we paid for it, which was around $600-700, I think before the rebates it was within that price range. Soooo, for that same amount of $, I could probably get a 1.5-2GB Intel P4 Processor, unsure about RAM, a decent video card (maybe a Radeon 9700, I think those are the latest), a nice sound card, a free printer (gee, now I'll have 3 to work with...exciting), and maybe a 120GB hard drive, although that is a disgusting amount of capacity. Yes, I really want another computer. There is nothing more sexier than a wireless home network. Well, dammit, I'm hungry, Kagrra's Fuusetsu is playing, it's getting light outside, and there are S'mores pop tarts that I should be eating. Hopefully it doesn't rain tonight so I can work later.

tunes: Dir en grey - 304 Goshitsu, Hakushi no Sakura

Fucking hell did work suck ass today. It started out nice b/c of the weather. It was beautiful outside. I went to Benny's to get some breakfast and ate in the park. Nice. Just that I was so damn tired I was trying to not fall asleep. Then everyone kept annoying me with their stupid questions I don't want to fucking answer. Eh, it's over, the insanity has passed, I had a few hours of sleep. Monday is an off day (at least it should be). I'll be working this week during the night, although I would love day hours. It really depends on who else will be there b/c I would like to have someone to talk to. If not, I'll take internet access. Fucking something. I really need to save up for a laptop, but I'm trying to get out of debt and the car thing. Talk about redundancy. Always revisiting the same rants and complains. No wonder there has been no advancement in my mental well being. Maybe I'll make more avatars and scan the rest of UXM 350. I hope the weather is nice tomorrow. Not that I care, really. I'm not going out or anything. I actually posted in my Xanga site today. That's very odd, considering I dropped that a long time ago. I kept saying I would move on to Moveable Type, yet I haven't done it yet. I'm getting lazy with my site. I pay about $6 a month for hosting, but I mostly use it for pictures, but I'm hosting my sisters so that's a good thing. Besides, web design is an enjoyable activity, even though it isn't one of my strengths. Just something to quench ruthless obsession.

tunes: Dir en grey - Bottom of the Death Valley (5 Ugly DVD)

I spent all day at work and I don't really want to talk about it. Not in the mood to write these long messages filled with inane ranting and moaning and whining and just utter nonsense. Well, I added some of my old webcam pics from early June. I really have to take more, but I kinda need a haircut, or at least a trim. I'm waiting for my next paycheck b/c I'm kinda saving up for Colorado. I also want to buy a new computer and car, which won't happen with only one job. Today is going to be boring as hell. No one to talk to and no HP book to read b/c my mom and sister are still reading it. Gee, I only paid for it, haha. I need money. I haven't added any new auctions to eBay to sell off some junk and make some room around here. I need frickin' time. Er, I finally had a cheesesteak today. Haven't had one in a long damn time. I get sick of Chinese food after a while. It felt damn fucking good. I can't imagine going to Japan sometimes b/c I know their cheesesteaks (if they have any) will never be as good as Philly.

Gay blogger wasn't gay working.

tunes: Dir en grey - Hades (5 Ugly Kingdom DVD)

Once again, I had no sleep before I went to work, but at least I got there early :) I also managed to learn how to make animated avatars on my own using Imageready. I made two with my little gibblet Kyo. Ah, speaking of my favorite lyricist, I used one of his English translated lyrics (the one from the album version of Embryo) into my signature line and no one was very happy with that. Eh, I really should just stick with the romanised versions to avoid all this garbage.

Where was I? Oh yeah. Went to work early, had some Mickey D's and went to the Bourse for a bit. It was pretty busy, lots of phone calls, reservations, cancellations. The rain was really coming down, too. We obviously cancelled shows. Tom stopped by to get his check and I got to see his cute ducky umbrella (Tom works for Ride the Ducks). I'm glad Jessica was there, too, b/c I had someone to talk to. The people weren't being assholes or anything either, so that was pretty cool. Just being friendly can really make someone's day.

I got a call from CJ saying that the Harry Potter book had came in the mail, but they missed the DVD b/c Pangel didn't want to open the door. I ended up leaving work at around 2 to go home (hey, I did my job), and waited until almost 4 to go pick up the DVD. Had to walk in the rain, I was soaked when I got home. I fell asleep during one of their songs, I think I stopped at Ugly. I watched the rest of the songs, though. OMG, I loved their last two looks at the end, especially the very last one b/c they all just looked like normal guys. I wouldn't want to see them like that all the time when they performed, but it was nice :) CJ also found the extras where you could see the bloopers (which were funny) and the sad stuff, like Kyo passing out on stage during Mr. Newsman (I think that was the song). The band members kept playing b/c they didn't know (how could they not? They were right there!), anyway, you could see the stage hands running up there and one of them picked him up and ran backstage, then the guys just stopped playing and went backstage as well. Another scene that I liked was when they were going to play Ash and Shinya forgot to play! HAHAHAHA! That was great ;) Oh, and when Kyo comes out wearing the rat head. He's so great ^^ He abused himself often during the show, his chest was bleeding o.o I wish I could've tended to his wounds ^^;;;; Now just waiting for Macabre and some mags.

tunes: Dir en grey - S

Hahaha, CJ and I just saw Hero and it was pretty damn good. We had a few laughs at some really stupid parts...stupid character/personality wise, for instance, (spoiler) if Maggie Cheung's character wanted to fight Tony Leung's character (ahhhh, I forget names so easily), why was she so upset when he died? As if fighting solves all problems. Then they get all crazy and sad b/c they killed the other person. Isn't that what you were planning? Or just hoping to fight without any casualties? Fighting with swords...c'mon people!

Ah, I need to start getting to work early b/c I never get there with enough time to get to the gallery and grab something to eat. I'm so dizzy. I hope it doesn't rain at all this week b/c I really need the money. I'm also working all day Friday so I better not forget! I hope to buy a laptop soon. I could really use one ^^ Especially if we go on a trip, but what about Internet access? Just b/c you have a laptop doesn't mean that you'll be able to access the Internet from a hotel. Unless you have special permission or something. That reminds me, I should go check that out.

tunes: Dir en grey - Ash

Spending too much money on DVDs again. I slept for about 5 hours today, it was so nice out, too. Tomorrow, gotta go to work and suffer customer service training. I should get wasted before I go, maybe it'll make the fucking thing more bearable. Oh wow, Kyo really does have hairy knees, he just shaved them before they took some pictures. I should've known. I guess I got used to his shaved legs from seeing him in miniskirts. He's got nice, white creamy skin ;) I want to play Raiden again. I want the actual arcade machine for Raiden II or DX in my house so I could play it. I wish there was a machine around the neighborhood, but it's mostly fighting games. I could go to GameWorks, but I don't want to be surrounded by kids, plus it's too far and all these stupid teenagers hang around there.

tunes: Dir en grey - Child Prey

Haven't been blogging as much once again. Ummm, Saturday, didn't get a lot of sleep, did the laundry, and went to work. Sunday went to work, again, didn't get a lot of sleep. I was like the walking dead. Oh well, at least I made a few bucks. Had BBQ when I got home, I was starving, I didn't take a break at work and hadn't eaten that whole day. Today (Monday) is a free day so I might not do anything aside from clean, eat, and sleep. Of course, I'll hit the Internet like I always do. I still need to keep looking for a good day job that pays so I can buy a used car. OMG, I have to get the Macabre DVD. I've been watching Live at Osakajo Hall DVD almost twice a day (not straight, just walking around doing stuff while it plays). I should be sleeping now, I'm not getting enough sleep! Eh. I should update the site with more pictures, but I'm too lazy :P

tunes: Dir en grey - Mr. Newsman

I slept the entire day and went to work. It was blazing hot outside, unbelievable. Good thing we had put in the air conditioner the night before (thanks to dad). Anyway, I went to the Gallery to get something to eat and they have a new stand that sells kung fu DVDs. An arm and a leg they cost, $20!!! Yeah, right. Anyway, I got some teriyaki chicken and rice and read some of the X-men: Codename Wolverine novel. Didn't get very far, haha. Went to work (they cancelled), but stayed long enough to sign up for bowling and to mess with Jessica in the shop. I worked for a few hours, just sitting in info, playing with the computer. I got bored enough to leave. There was also a blackout down my block. I don't know the cause, but an hour and a half after I got home, the power is back up. Thank goodness. I also spent a few hours looking at pictures of Kyo and joined a fanlisting devoted to him. Yay :D

tunes: Dir en grey - Keibi

I updated a few of the pages on the site. I forgot to mention that I resized one of my partitions, the one with XP on it. Having memory problems so I increased the size to about 10GB using PartitionMagic. Someone did say something about moving the swap file, but I kinda did it at a spur of the moment kind of thing. My only problem right now is that the computer does random restarts, like every 7 hours or so. I need to take a new snapshot of my current desktop. Also, I don't know the proper way of removing hardware! XP had a fit when it couldn't find my USB2 PCI card. Fucking hell.

tunes: Dir en grey - engnirys cimredopyh +) an injection

Anne graduated yesterday. It was one of the shortest EVER. Loved it. I took a bunch of pics that I may put up later. I don't really blog much anymore. Me and my lazy ass. Still looking for a job, yet not answering my phone? Ha, I'm doing so damn good (sarcasm). I'm bored and I post on the X-men board too much. My sleeping habits have gone to shit. Oh yeah, after Anne's grad, we went to the buffet where I stuffed myself. Didn't gain any weight, but stuffed myself. Hell yeah. *Sigh* I miss Kyo.

tunes: Dir en grey - Kasumi

I haven't updated in what seems like ages. Anyway, computer probs galore. Looking to buy new hard drive. Again. Errrr....lots of scanning and comic book reading. So lazy. Can't even type a lot of stuff. I need to find a job. A good, decent one that pays. I suck.

tunes: Dir en grey - Waza

AsianAvenue.com - UgLyPnAy411's Personal Page

LOOKIE!! I updated my AA page. I have Mr. Newsman playing in the background now, damn I love that song.... Work was cancelled last night so I didn't do anything but sleep and try to watch Ringu (really lame Divx copy, something must've been wrong with the encoding). Boy, I really miss Japanese horror, like Uzemaki. That was good, but I barely paid attention! Speaking of Japan, Miss Japan was damn hot in the Miss Universe pageant. She was fourth runner up, but that's a lot higher than I was expecting, especially since the majority of the top 5 were frickin' Hispanic. I'm glad Dominican Republic won, though. She was damn hot.

So yeah, check out my AA page. I have lots of Deg and Kyo pics. Hehe, obsession is maddening. I'm on the verge of delusional. At least I have no more school, which requires lots of focus, something I never had, anyway. BLUE FISH!!!!!!

tunes: Dir en grey - Child Prey

I updated about 85% of the pages on my site, took down some pages, etc, etc. I'm still not finished with the layout. I think this is the longest I ever worked on a layout. I'm not very satisfied with my latest image, the red section. It seems too cluttered, but I don't feel like redoing it. Okay, so should I purchase this $50 DVD from cdjapan? Rettou Gekishin Angya Final 2003 5 Ugly Kingdom. It's only one disc and about 2 hours long. I'm sure it's worth it, though b/c, fuck, it's Dir en grey. Problems are that it's Region 2 encoded, which means it won't likely work on my PS2 or the DVD in the living room (although it does play VCDs from the Philippines, I'm not sure about this DVD, plus the costly price). Ahhh, it's annoying. I want to see it so bad. I'm hungry and thirsty and could use about 50 bottles of Ramune right now. Or hard liquor. Dammit, Kasumi came on. This song is so damn sad. I love it. ;)

tunes: Dir en grey - Filth

Wow, I'm liking the progress of the layout so far, but it's still not finished! I need to do a section for their albums. CJ and I have been thinking about creating a Dir en grey site or ones dedicated to our favorite members. Well, I'm happy with the way the layout is looking so far. It's still big on 800x600, but it's fine on 1024x768, although I use the higher setting. I have to watch out for my bandwidth, though. I've been using a lot for the mp3s, luckily, I still have plenty left! Tomorrow is the Poon restaurant dinner for work, I feel bad I'm not going, but at least I get to save $4. Oh well :T
