music: Watching Aladdin...

All semi-personal daily blog has gone to my gaia online journal. You have to be my Gaian buddy to view it :) Well, Happy Thanksgiving to all! Today is my day off this week so I'm spending it cleaning my room, watching kung-fu flix and other movies, and just wasting time on the net. I did clean up some of the clutter but I still have lots of junk to sort out.

Rent started at the East on Wednesday and it was very busy that night when I went to go work. Tomorrow I do the day shift but it's also Black Friday so it'll most likely be busy. Reminder to self to buy food for Max!

music: The Octopus Project - Tuxedo Hat

Today, Max couldn't wait for us all morning to take him out for his daily walk. So he left us some 'presents' that we had to 'giftwrap'. Around 12:30ish Jane and I took Max to PetsMart where we had hoped to get him groomed because he gets matted so easily. Alas, they are booked over the weekend. I'm not sure when we're gonna be able to get him done but hopefully soon cuz he's turning into a big tangled mess.

Jane and I have been playing X-men Legends II like MAD. It's a great game, the best comic book game on the PS2.

We screened Bee Season at the East tonight, it was a decent turnout of 200 or so. There was a Q&A session with the director after the movie. I was a bit miffed that there were no bags of popcorn left so I had to go to the Bourse and pick up about 10 bags. Awesome Man Gavin helped me move the bags on a cart in the rain. He rocks. It was nice to see Tom and Maggie again. I really love the folks over at the Bourse. I want to work there just to see them more often but ... I dunno. Maybe I shouldn't.

Afterwards, I promised The Creeping Weeds I'd see them, although I knew I'd either catch them during their set or miss them entirely. I ended up paying $8 to hear them play 1.5 songs. They're really good, though and I hope to see them play again.
