Mollynator

Sunday was pretty nice. Went to church, Acme to buy flowers and then visited Mom at the cemetery. My dad talked about her for a while. It was really nice and sunny out. We also visited Janie's parents and saw where Jeffrey's dad was buried. After that I went to Walmart, Famous Footwear and all over Center City. Had a Warsaw Packed at Underdogs and then went to Victoria's Secret for their semi annual sale. Need to return a bra, though. I also went to Kinko's to print out the funeral pics. Totally got ripped off cuz it came out to $145. Afterwards I went to Rita's to get a piña colada/lemonade water ice.

Jane called me and said that Molly was being taken to the ER because she was crying a lot. We were there for about 4 hours. Turns out she has a slipped disc in her back and it's very painful. Jane didn't go to work for the next 2 days to watch Molly. I went to get a muscle relaxer on Tuesday at the hospital to see if that will help her pain.

Monday after work I got sushi and played Modern Warfare 3 with Pete. I left around 4 though because people came over. We got to hang out again Tuesday night but we just talked, ate BK, went for a walk around Clark Park and then got snacks at Fresh Grocer. It was a really nice day and night. I spent the night there and left for work early Wednesday morning. Watched We Need To Talk About Kevin with Jane when I got home. Pete texted me fro a new number bc he got a new phone at RadioShack. He said it was an LG Optimus Elite. He has so many phones and numbers! I slept for a while and woke up a whole ago. Been playing games. I also just found out that my co-worker Michelle's dad just died. He had been in hospice for about a week. I'm sad for her and her family but at least he is at peace.

I'm not sleepy. I should probably read. I think staying with Pete messed up my sleep schedule. I won't see him till probably Saturday night. We've been having some weird issues. He says he will be behaving oddly because he thinks his tumor is acting up. I'm trying to keep busy in the meantime, take care of Molly and get organized. I don't want to always be worrying about him or just worrying a lot in general. There's a lot to worry about, though. I hope the second part of this year will be better for everyone :(

Harry Potter marathon

Wow it's been 4 days? Not much has happened until Friday anyway. I spent a lot of time playing games on my iPhone and also was productive Thursday night by studying. I think that night Jane was finishing her ombré hair style. We had both finished our Harry Potter marathon on Friday. Such a great series. I had a pretty good Friday night and a great Saturday. A few shaky moments unfortunately. Played the new games Jane told me about. I really enjoyed the subway running game. Spent most of the day just doing that and sleeping but went to Chinatown later to eat at Mai Lai Wah and just wander. Afterwards, went to the arcade and Soya was there! I haven't seen him in forever. Fun times at the arcade.

Gonna wake up in a few hours for church so I'm gonna play games then go to sleep :)

Bills bills bills

Yesterday was pretty grey but a good day overall. Had some server issues at work that is still currently being worked on. Chinese for lunch. Phone service got suspended so I paid AT&T almost $900 to get it turned on. I actually overpaid because I only owed about $600 but made another payment for $300 so I will be credited next month. It was so hot after work. I went home and ran some errands before I went to see Pete and spend the night at his place. Pete made pasta dinner last night and it was yummy. We had a Batman movie marathon. I feel good after yesterday and last night. I felt like I really needed it. I need to be careful with my spending now, I feel like when I'm unhappy I overspend and just don't care about it. Time to be responsible.

Just Like Heaven

Made myself sad at work. Not on purpose, but I was going through my backed up iPhone pictures and saw photos of when Mom was sick. Really killed my motivation. Tried to get people to help me out of my funk but only succeeded in frustrating myself even more. I really need to learn not to rely on others to make myself happy.

I did have a yummy hazelnut iced coffee (no sugar) and chick fil a for lunch. I also kind of went on a spending spree on iTunes buying Daydream Nation and The Velvet Underground + Nico. Also at lunch I went shopping at Petco to get a lamp for turtle and flea meds for the cat. Then I went to Famous Footwear and bought Nike Eclipse and Dr Scholl flats.

No traffic on the way home. Bought Pizza, watched Eden of the East anime and played games on my phone. Might do some reading so I'll feel a little productive about the night.

Happy Father's Day

Woke up after about 3 hours of sleep to go to church. Went to get Molly, get flowers at Acme and visited Mommy at the cemetery. Dad broke down in tears. It was really sad. Cleaned the area a bit and laid down our roses.

Afterwards we took Dad to Brick for brunch. The coffee and muffins were really good. I enjoyed my surf and turf Benedict. The rest of the day Anne and I just stayed home for R&R.

After the Brennan party, dropped off Anne and went home. I left to go watch MIB3 at United Artists on 69th street. Peter made burgers for us and it was so tasty! I'm really happy that he has been treating me to dinner lately :) We drove to Upper Darby. I have never been to that theater before. It is so trashy and the movie was out of focus the whole time! Really good movie, though. Peter paid for our tickets which made me happy, haha. Afterwards Peter bought more minutes for his tracfone and we watched Kill Bill. Then it was thankfully a short run of Geometry Wars and he played Marvel vs Capcom 2 on my iPhone. Unlocked 5 characters! I had a really great Saturday :)

It must sound weird like I never get treated out but I really am appreciative when people do. I really like it and, yeah, it is kind of rare. It's not that someone has to spend large amounts of money on me to make me happy but I do enjoy going out a lot. I also love going to the movies which I haven't been doing lately until this week! Church in 3 hours... I need to sleep!

Aimee's Grad party/Brennan family reunion

Beautiful, hot day! Forgot my swimsuit but still enjoyed being at Mrs. B's. Sad being there without mom. I really miss her. Ate lots of food and watched kids play in the pool.

Went out to the Pitt around 3. It was one of the more bearable nights there. No crazy annoying ghetto people. Pete was playing pool and I talked to Keon and then Jenny when she got there. Joel, Rob, Mo, Luke were also there. Pete and I left when it was over and stopped at McDonald's where a guy needed a jump so we helped him out. Got food at the drive thru and went to my house. My dad woke up and had issues with Pete staying over since we were sleeping in my mom's room so we went back west to sleep. Pete had to work at 11.

Right now me, Jane, Anne, Dad and Molly are heading to Aimee's birthday party. I'm so hungry! The weather is really nice, too :)

Finally managed to jailbreak my iPhone using redsn0w! Really nice day, had Pizza Hut for lunch and there was no traffic on the way home. Just got back from dinner at Millcreek Tavern. Pete made me a mushroom Swiss burger with fries. It was really good! I was tired and missed Molly so I went home. Really glad I finished my phone. Having fun with Cydia :)

Sitting at work, looking over at the last post in the blog and thinking about how SO MUCH has changed since then. It has been so crazy and unexpected since January, 2011. Lots of ups and downs, but mostly downs. As of June 2012 I'm hoping for a year of rebuilding, positive outlooks and making my own life better for myself and my family.

The biggest and most severe change in my life happened on May 25, 2012. That was when my mother found peace from her disease and left a hole in my heart that will never be filled again. I think about her every day and I still get sad every now and then. I miss her and love her so much.

For now, I'll just be posting about my day and how boring and uninteresting it is. This morning I woke up with Pete and dropped him off at 38th and University Ave while I went to work. Stopped at Dunkin' Donuts for an everything bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese and a caramel iced latte. Been trying to jailbreak my iPhone with absinthe but the damn thing keeps crashing. I do enjoy the new iOS AND I have been playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 which I purchased for $4.99 from the App Store.
