Pre-Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving weekend is coming! Excited for the 4 day weekend. Not much planned, possibly going to a pre-TG dinner tonight at Peter's bro Jose and his GF Laura's place. TG will most likely be at my parent's house with Jane cooking then hitting up the Pokes to see Pete's parents. His ex-wife just had her baby recently so we won't be visiting MA to see his kids. Maybe sometime soon again, though.

Been shopping for a TV. Not set on which brand. I haven't liked any Vizio I've seen. I liked a Samsung LED with 3.5 million contrast ratio, 46", 1080P but unfortunately it's a smart TV which turns Peter off. I've debated whether or not I will put size over my requirements b/c a lot of big screens are cheap.

Haven't been going to the bar much. Hit up Watkins Drinkery and Fountain Porter last weekend. Watched lots of anime, getting far in Bleach and at a good point in Naruto even though I fell asleep last night so I need to watch it over again. Haven't seen Skyfall yet, really behind in movies. Peter has been cooking up a storm lately. He is such a great cook! He made filet mignon, corn and his epic mashed potatoes last night. He also took care of me since I wasn't feeling well and bought me treats and made sure I took my antibiotics. We have also been making progress in Borderlands 2 even though we didn't play last night.

Massachusetts weekend, voting and anime

music: Nothing.

So what happened this week? Voted on Tuesday morning, watched a lot of Bleach and Naruto, some LA Ink here and there. Nothing planned so far for this weekend. I'd like to get out again. Been saving a lot of money with lack of crazy spending so I'm happy.

Last weekend I got out of work early on Friday to prepare for a weekend in Massachusetts. Peter and I drove up to Medway to pick up his kids. We ate at a pizza shop, watched Wreck it Ralph (very good movie!) and then drove to Framingham to the Sheraton where we were gonna spend the night. The room was big enough for his kids to stay over and they did and basically spent a lot of time in the room or at the indoor pool.

I voted on Tuesday morning. Had to relocate to Guerin Rec Center and it was a freezing morning. The outcome was to be expected and I hoped I picked the lesser of two evils. I pretty much did what I thought my mom would have wanted me to do.

Only about 80 more episodes to go for Bleach and it's nearing the end of the battle with Aizen. My beautiful, beautiful Aizen. I love Ichigo, but I'm all about the bad guys so I'm missing them already. I'll have to go back and re-watch some episodes that were skipped due to being fillers. Naruto Shippuden is a great series so far. I'm in Season 3 and progressing nicely. Not sure if I'll catch up by next year but I have plenty of time.

Yesterday was Halloween, didn't do anything special. Peter didn't go to the tattoo shop so I spent the night in washing dishes and cooking dinner. I set up the new Pur water dispenser I got from Amazon that night. Had to rearrange the fridge. I felt worse sick-wise and I really wanted to go running.

Today Rich wasn't in but I still got in late this morning because I had to rush to take the trash out. Had leftover chicken for lunch. Been doing really well with not eating out as much anymore. Saving money. Gonna try to get my eyebrows done tonight then find parking and hopefully go for a run and stop by the house. Just gonna be leftovers for dinner tonight. I think it would be wise to only do major grocery shopping twice a month.

Called PECO today and hopefully my dispute is settled. I hope they adjust the bill now. I am still worried about Molly b/c she started to get pain again on her birthday. I need to be careful when playing with her but I try not to let her run up and down the steps anymore.
