tunes: Dir en grey - Ash

Okay, people don't want to listen or just want to be assholes. FINE. FUCK YOU. I had to enable hotlink protection to save my bandwidth. This is not funny, it pisses me off. If you had permission from me to use images from me or my subdomains, please let me know so I can give you access. I really didn't want to resort to this and I also don't want to upgrade my account. I don't mind things like posting pictures for your site (such as a cool image that you want to put in your blog), but then there are things like using wallpaper for your website or webpage. The wallpapers on my site and subdomains aren't small and I've seen them being used for livejournals and such. PLEASE DO NOT DIRECT LINK FROM MY SITE!

updates: direct linking images? NOT! XP

tunes: Hyde - The Other Side

OMG, I'm so tired, I worked 14 hours today and for the past three days, I've been doing over 10 hours a day. It's just insane, but I hope to have enough money saved up. It's definitely not going to be enough to buy a car, but at least I'll have some money. I went to Benny's Place this morning for breakfast and had the greatest breakfast sandwich. I love breakfast sandwiches so much. My friend came to work wearing his Punisher shirt so I'm like "okay, if he wore his Punisher shirt and forgot to bring in the TPBs, I'll kick his ass! He didn't forget and that was great. I didn't get far in the first book, but I hope to change that before I go back to work. He was also pissing himself over someone's name, I had accidently written out "Sharon" as the first name of a person who's last name was "Baron" and it was just soo funny. The rest of the day wasn't very eventful, didn't eat until about 4. Then I went to take front of the house for a while with my supervisor's daughter and it was fun. She's cool and just a chill person to hang out with. Oh yeah, I forgot about the guy who tried to give me money. I felt bad b/c I said something rude to him and I didn't know if that gesture was to be nice or something else. Oh well, I hope I can talk to him and find out. Night time shift sucked. That's all I'll say. Eh.... tomorrow (or today at least) another day....

tunes: Dir en grey - Mr. Newsman

Okay, let me stop being mean. Forget what I said about mods, but I don't think it should be any different than saying I hate cops. Still, I stand on the fact that some people are just assholes. Can't be helped. I hate customer service work so much. Everyone is an asshole. Fucking bunch of fucking assholes. Fucking hate them.

updates: we are very rare and we are mostly men.

tunes: Dir en grey - Yokan

I swear, some people at the X-men forums (especially the damn mods) are a bunch of fucktards! Well, mostly speaking about mods.... I feel like kicking whoever is in charge of selecting mods. Oh well. Some mods are cool, some... I don't know what planet they are from or what world they live in .... damn fuckers. I don't know why I continue to go there if people annoy me so much .....

updates: NONE. Although I should start making "mods suck" avatars. HAHAHAHA!

tunes: Hyde - Hello

OH. MY. GOD.

Okay, lemme get a hold of myself. Okay. All better now :) Just been reading a lot of stuff online, mostly Rogue/Gambit fanfiction, megatokyo, and strings of fate. I'm also on FanForum if I'm not doing anything else. Just gearing up before Colorado since I'm sure we won't have any Internet access there. Also, love that the members are spamming on the Neopets guild. Hahahhaha. I'm thinking of making avatars on the Beast of Blood PV by Malice Mizer. I dunno when I'll have time to making them though. Oh, and I finished watching Drive today. Entertaining, typical action film. I love Mark Dacoscas' fluid movements when he does his martial arts. Okay, more later. I have to work tomorrow :P

tunes: Dir en grey - Yurameki

Heh, you'd think some people would be beyond smoking bud now. Oh well. I did see a moment of extreme generosity and kindness. Jessica K gave me a dollar and a token. Damn, I wonder what she would ask from me now that she's given me stuff. There's always a catch to these types of things.

Updates: 4 new Kyo avatars by your truly. :)

tunes: Dir en grey - Keroido Milk

Didn't have time to post much. I worked about 14 hours yesterday, although it was a really fun day for me (this is very rare, folks). Got to work early as usual, had my breakfast in the park. Damn, so many bugs flying around, I wonder how many I managed to swallow just by walking with my mouth open. It was pretty busy at work, I think me and Clint sold over 100 tickets in a very short time. In the end, we had I think almost 500 or more show up for the shows that night. I was working in info, being pleasant for once to the guests. This one Air Force dude tried to get me to have lunch w/him and I'm like .....uhhhh, I don't get out until midnight....that was a lie of course b/c I took my break at 4:30 (damn, I was sooo starving). I worked for another hour and a half, then Trixie and Harry came in and we went to this pizza spot on South Street. Good lord do I hate South Street! It was Greek picnic time, I think, which is why it was crawling with law enforcement. It was kinda drizzling on our way there so Trix got me a bag to carry my laptop in (gee, I'm too hip to bring a bag with me, so I ended up lugging it around in a plastic bag). I didn't eat anything, though, pizza is just not good to me. Got back and chilled behind tickets and I was playing Raiden II (my game!). I also had some Dir en grey videos playing in the background and they were looking at Child Prey (I didn't know, I thought they were commenting on the game I was playing). I didn't want them to listen to it b/c as gay Darryl would say "I'm such an elitist", hahahaha. Yeah, Darryl, okay....you and your 25 cent comics ^^ (which isn't bad, I just don't spend money on comics that look like they aren't worth it, shyeah, I know I shouldn't judge books by their covers, but covers as we all know are vital in purchasing/renting merchandise. It's all business folks). I let Trix listen to it and she just heard the part where Kyo goes into a slow part, then picks it up. I should let some people listen to Dir en grey. They are such a great band, I wouldn't want my friends to miss out :) I had fun with Kathie, Jim, Kareem, and Larry at headsets, too. Just messing with them. Hehe. I have to counter a bad day at work with a good day. I don't know if I would prefer a bland, mediocre day to a bad one, but I'm glad I actually had a good day at work. I loved working with Clint. :) Next working hours are Wednesday night, Thurs-Fri-Sat day and night. I went over hours this week so Clint wasn't very happy with that.

Updates: No time for updates!!!

tunes: Dir en grey - Bottom of the Death Valley

I got my laptop yesterday. I just need to buy cables and cards so I can network and get on the internet. Oh yeah, I cancelled my Compuserve account so my AIM screenname which is msanthropickat is no longer available. My new screenname is xmkatx. If you have me on your buddy list, please update it. It sucks, but so does Compuserve and AOL. Anne's graduating her modeling school tonight so I'm gonna try to attend that as well as go to work. I'll also be working from 10AM to midnight on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday so I won't be on as much :( I can't wait to go to Colorado. I would love a break. A nice long break away from Philadelphia.

Updates: None.

tunes: Dir en grey - Aoi Tsuki

Didn't have much to say about Saturday day and night so I didn't post anything. We did have a late night at work and I didn't get home until past 1AM. Anyway, today was the second time I lied about my background. Well, techincally, I'm not -from- the Philippines. I was born and raised here and I don't even speak the language. I felt guilty about it the first time I lied, horribly actually. I don't know what made me feel guilty about it more, the fact that I lied or the fact that I lied about my nationality. I left work pretty early today b/c my friend had to go to the Pearl Jam concert. I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about T3: Rise of the Machines. I think I'll catch it in a few days or so. I'm still waiting for my paycheck to clear. I'm assuming it's taking a while b/c of the holiday, but usually when I deposit my checks, they clear the very same day! I dunno why my direct deposit didn't work. Ah, well. I feel like working on some new Kyo avatars.

Updates: I joined a site called Japanese Streets I'll have the link posted on the links section of this page.

tunes: Shiina Ringo - Tsumi to Batsu

What an interesting 4th of July. I went to work as usual, got my breakfast at Willie & Duffy's and did my job. Took plenty of show reservations... the schedule looks full for Saturday night and Tuesday night. Anyway, I really don't want to talk about what happened at work. I know that I wasn't the happiest person today and everyone who tried to talk to me probably noticed that. The Constitution Center opened today, I saw Justin Guarini performing while I was getting ready to leave home and I saw on the news that there was a mishap when they tried to pull the ribbon to open the center. It was pretty damn funny. Of course, the usual protestors were there with their signs and masks and whatnot. I don't have a lot of news today, but I did find some really hot Angelina Jolie pictures. She is apparantly slated to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

tunes: Gackt - Oasis

Reposting this from the coin-in-grey ML on Yahoo!Groups:

"Dir en grey (Kaoru and Kyo) appear in Fool's Mate this month with Slipknot side project Glam Rockers the Murder Dolls (J and Wednesday 13). It's pretty interesting. They talk about differences between Japanese and American rock and the Murderdoll's chime in on what they think of the Japanese Visual-kei scene.

I think Kaoru and Kyo sum up what visual-kei was all about when they say, "It's not music created by humans, it's made by monsters"

The murderdolls impression of Dir en grey was favorable. They said, "They do goth rock but not just, they do kind of nu-metal stuff, but it's not really nu-metal the way Americans do it. They don't sound like anyone else out there."

When the Murderdolls mention that they had Melt Banana open for them before, Dir en grey sheds some light on why the Japanese music scene is so genre oriented, in that there are little oppurtunities to garner interest outside of their niche. Kaoru explains it as, "In America when you go on a nationwide tour with 40 stops that can be a huge undertaking, that goes on for a year, so you bring along some other acts and get exposure to new audiences. In Japan a nationwide tour is over in a month."

Kyo on shock: "I was doing that (fake blood, cream, etc) but I started to feel that it was all too fake. I realized it was that much more shocking when I started clawing at my chest and drew real blood."

The murderdolls' (Wed13) countered this by saying the only way he could shock the audience these days was by brushing his teeth on stage.

The Murderdolls tried to encourage Dir en grey to bring their act to the States to open up new audiences even leaving an open invite to do a show together.

Kaoru on Dir en grey in the US: "It's not like 'we're aiming for America!', but it would be great to play in front of new audiences. When and if we do make it to America, we want it to be like we're on the offensive, not that we're doing a promotional thing."

(Bits in this blurb were paraphrased by me from memory of a magazine I read last night.) "

Thank you, burara@hotmail.com, for posting this!

Ok first, lemme say this....EWWWW Murderdolls! Okay, to be fair, I tried listening to their stuff once, but I really don't remember them at all. Heck, at least it wasn't Insane Clown Posse who I absolutely loathe. Um, Kaoru and Kyo..... how is VK music created by "monsters"? I really don't understand that...I guess it's b/c I'm associating "monster" with a sound not unlike Slipknot, Mudvayne, Mushroomhead, and the rest. Murderdolls got it right when they said that Dir en grey were very diverse in style. It's one of the reasons I adore Deg ;) Heh, and Murderdolls also mentioned Melt Banana....I can't believe MB would open for that band! They are so spastic (Melt Banana, that is). I remember when a friend of mine told me about them and I downloaded a few of their tracks off Audiogalaxy (back when it was still free). I'm glad Kyo dropped that stupid fake blood shit. I thought it was really stupid. I do enjoy him marking and clawing himself...love it. Whoa, and OUCH on the comment on Kyo's teeth. I wonder how he reacted to that? Considering that Kyo seriously needs dental work (I still love you, Kyo!!!).

Please, please, please don't let Dir en grey open for Murderdolls EVER! That will be horrible! Nooooooo! Well, at least Deg will be in the States (giving me a chance to stalk them hahahahhaa...j/k ;) really). If I do go to their show, I'll leave after Deg's finished on stage. Screw Murderdolls. I agree w/Kaoru. Hit the small venues, I don't care. Just don't open for Murderdolls!

tunes: Gackt - Vanilla

I knew it would come to this. I love this song. It's embarassing, but true. How can I live with myself now? Anyway, it's...what time? It's almost 3AM and I have to be at work by 10AM. I may as well not sleep at all and go to work all tired and fuzzy eyed. Yesterday, I woke up and found a FedEx package on my bed. Yay! My 20GB Ipod finally came! I've been tracking it almost every day! Go downstairs and I see that I missed a package from Taiwan. Picked it up at Castle Station and of course, it's my Dir en grey - Macabre DVD. Watched the whole thing before I left for work ;) My mom comes home and she's telling me that the police put tape all over the end of my block b/c of the collapsing houses. I got bitched at by the cops, too, and they made me go around the damn block. HAHAHA! I love watching Gackt on Shingo Mama. It's so damn funny :D I'll be working a lot of hours this week. Wednesday from 10AM to close which will probably be around 11PM, no work Thursday day or night for me, Friday from 10AM - 6PM (no shows), Saturday night (7PM - 11PM), and Sunday (11AM-6PM). I hate Sundays! So boring at work! Everyone likes to piss me off!

Updates: Added a Gackt link. I need to fix the Kyo Quiz Results images. Maybe later.
